Technology Review - Tesla Inc. has introduced an all-electric battery-powered commercial truck, known as Tesla Cybertruck. This vehicle was designed in a unique shape. The body was built with a strong exterior shell for persistence and maximum protection for its passengers.

For this purpose, Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless-steel structural skin. This car made with a smooth monochrome exoskeleton, which put outside of the car to reduce damages, scratches, and long-term corrosion as well.

On the demo, the strength of this Exoskeleton was tested and showed a very impressive result. The body was remained strong and intact after being hit with a large hammer. The Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless-steel seems to work very well.

Tesla Armor Glass Demo

The Cybertruck is also built with Tesla Armor Glass, the Ultra-strong glass and polymer-layered composite, which is able to absorb and redirect impact forces for enhanced performance and damage tolerance, that what Elon Musk tried to tell to the audience on the demonstration stage. But unfortunately on that demo, the glass was broken when a man threw an iron ball/marble to the glass. Please check images below:


And at the end of this Tesla Armor Glass Demo, he broke the two windows glasses. Maybe there is something that needs to be improved here.

If you are interested in this car you can reserve it today at $100. But you will be able to complete your configuration as production nears in late 2021 while the Tri-Motor AWD production is expected to begin in late 2022.

Public Opinion for Tesla Cybertruck

As we can see, the model of this car is unique. Maybe some others will say it's strange or wired. That's why this Cybertruck becomes a trending topic today. So, let’s see some opinions...

Zammit, the head of the MFA Transportation Design program at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit said that it’s extreme. His first reaction when he saw this Cybertruck was horror. It also said that the design of this car literally breaks every rule he tells his students. He always teaches the student, regarding automotive designs, to make the vehicle looks stable by adding something extra. But he supposed to convey that this car is not. However, Brett Smith (Brett Smith is the director of the Propulsion Technologies & Energy Infrastructure Group at the Center for Automotive Research) has a different opinion regarding the Tesla Cybertruck.
The Cybertruck will give Tesla an opportunity to establish a toehold in the segment and build credibility. But it might not be the long-term design direction for Tesla's pickup offering.
