Ya, pertanyaan itu yang keluar dari benak saya ketika masih kuliah dulu (sekitar tahun 2004) mengenai Google. Sebuah situs yang dapat membantu user mencari informasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Tinggal mengetikan “kata kunci” kemudian Google akan menampilkan sederetan situs yang mengulas tentang hal yang berkaitan dengan kata kunci yang kita ketikan.

Namun, lagi-lagi saya bertanya, kalau sudah membantu user mencari informasi seperti itu, untungnya dari mana situs ini?

Anak Google itu Bernama Adwords dan Cucunya bernama Adsense

Setelah berjalan beberapa lama searching info melalui Google dengan bermain ketak-ketik kata kunci tiba-tiba saya menjumpai di sisi kanan halamam hasil pencarian (SERP = Search Engine Result Page) ada sederetan data situs yang di atasnya terdapat tulisan “advertesiment”. Baru dari situ saya menyadari, sepertinya iklan itu yang menjadi “obor” bagi Google. Para pebisnis sepertinya telah melirik popularitas Google dan ingin memanfaatkannya untuk beriklan. Kalau mau diilustrasikan mungkin transaksinya seperti ini:

Google: “Woro-woro.... hai, Om-om para pebisnis. Ada inpo bagus ne... Ane mau buka lapak buat siape-siape yang mau pasang iklan di situs Ane.”

Pebisnis: “Model situs ape yang ente tawarin Goog..?”

Google: “Begini Om, situs Ane adalah search engine. Kalo ente pasang iklan di situs Ane, nah setiap muncul hasil pencarian yang relevan, situ Ente bakalan Ane tampilan di hasil pencarian. Misalnye ye, Ada yang ngetik “asuransi” nah bakalan Ane tampilin situs-situs yang berhubungan dengan asuransi, trus bagi Ente pebisnis asuransi yang masang iklan, bakalan Ane tampilin di sisi kanan (sidebar). Gimana? Ente bisa dapat trafik tinggi tuh. Situs Ente bakalan di kunjungi calon pembeli..”

Pebisnis: “Wah asik tuh... Trus gmn caranye Goog? Berapa Harganye?”

Google: “Gampang... Program ini ane kasih nama Adword, Ente tinggal daftar aja no disono, terus login. Habis ntu setting dah kampanye plus harga iklannya. Itungan bayarnye perklik ye... Klik ntuh artinya prospek he3...”

Pebisnis: “Iye-iye... Meluncur dah..”

Nah, begitu ilustrasi awal terjadinya Adwords. Sejak saat itu Google kebanjiran pelanggan. Rupanya pebisnis online semakin tertarik mengiklan situs mereka melalui Adwords. Semakin hari semakin banyak. Kebingungan tuh Google. Dia inginnya cepat-cepat menampilkan semua iklan relevan yang terdaftar di situsnya. Setelah melirik ke kanan dan ke kiri, google akhirnya menemukan ide. Dia membayangkan sekian banyak situs di luar sana dengan berbagai topik. Alangkah menguntungkannya jika situs-situs itu juga jadi media untuk menampilkan iklan Adwords. Akhirnya, Google memutuskan untuk membuka lapak bagi para pemilik blog dan situs (selanjutnya disingkat B&S). Bahkan Google juga membuka fasilitas ngeblog gratis BLOGGER. Singkat kata terjadilah transaksi berikut:

Google: “Hai para blogger... hai siter... Mau duit ga?”

B&S: “Mau dong... caranye gimana Goog..?”

Google: ”Gini, ente daftarin aje situs ato blog ente ke program Ane, Namanye ADSENSE. Ane bakalan review dulu situs atau blog ente. Kalau layak ente bakalan ane approve.”

B&S: ”terus selanjutnye...?”

Google: “Ente tinggal pasang script ane di situs atau blog ente. Isinya iklan. Ga usa khawatir, iklan yang muncul bakalan relevan dengan topik situs atau blog ente. Nah, setiap ada yang klik iklan ntuh, ente bakalan Ane kasih komisi. Enak kan?”

B&S: “Enak tuh... Ok dah.”

Tahun demi tahun perjalanan Adwords dan Adsense terus mengalami kenaikan grafik. B&S yang selanjutnya disebut “Publisher” pun semakin banyak yang mendaftar. Semakin banyak banyak orang mendapatkan $$$ dari Adsense.

Disinilah sisi manusia muncul, karena tertarik dengan $$$ ada yang bermain dengan baik ada pula yang curang. Bahkan ada beberapa situs atau blog yang tidak menyajikan informasi sesuai dengan topik mereka. Isinya kosong.

Nah, Om terus rahasia yang dibongkar Ayu Ting Ting mana?

Begini, sewaktu Anda mencari mencari informasi menggunakan Google, kemudian Anda mendapai sederetan situs yang relevan. Anda pasti akan mengklik salah satu atau beberapa situs tersebut. Alangkah menjengkelkanya jika ternyata konten yang mereka sajikan ternyata adalah konten yang tidak berkualitas alias SAMPAH. Apa lantas yang terjadi? Anda pasti kesal. Kemana...kemana..kemana??? Begitu kata Ayu Ting Ting.

Kegelisahan tersebut juga dipikirkan oleh Google. Banyak situs-situs yang menyajikan info sampah. Apa jadinya kalau situs yang ditampilkan google adalah info sampah? Otomatis pengguna Google akan mengalami kekecewaan dan meninggalkan Google. Trus? Kalau pengguna Google sedikit, lantas siapa yang mau beriklan? Otomatis Adsense pun akan tutup.

Oleh karena itu, Google sekarang memberlakukan peraturan yang ketat bagi para Publishernya. Sudah banyak publisher yang ketahuan melakukan kucurangan. Hasilnya? Situs mereka ditendang. Senjata Google terbaru, Google Panda, akan mengawasi setiap situs yang ada di Google. Entah situs itu adalah publisher Adsense atau bukan, kalau konten yang disajikan adalah sampah, maka bersiap-siaplah untuk ditendang.

Namun, banyak juga situs-situs yang menyajikan konten berkualitas juga kena tendang. Beberapa teman saya pernah bercerita seperti itu. Wah, giman Om Google ne?

Inti postingan ini adalah peringatan bagi diri saya sendiri dan masukan bagi para publisher Adsense untuk terus menyajikan informasi bermanfaat, supaya bisa langgeng untuk mendulang $$$ melalui Adsense. Kesalahan Iklan – Seorang Pelajar Disuguhi Service Mak Erot

Suatu hari Michi membaca sebuah tulisan pada suatu Blog. Judul tulisan itu adalah “Beasiswa ke Jepang, Uang Saku 3000 Yen Perbulan ”. Tanpa panjang lebar Michi pun menyusuri kalimat demi kalimat dalam posting blog tersebut.

Memasuki paragraf pertama Michi sudah terpikat dengan informasi beasiswa tersebut. Bayangkan, bagaimana tidak, di dalam paragraf tersebut dituliskan “Pestasi sekolah tidak terlalu diperhitungkan, melainkan keaktifan dan kreatifitas yang diutamakan”. Nah tuh... Michi menyadari nilai sekolahnya tidak begitu bagus, he..he..

Di paragraf kedua Michi semakin serius membaca. Apalagi di kalimat yang berbunyi “Anda akan mendapatkan biaya belajar sebesar 3000 yen setiap bulan”. Pikiran Michi sudah terbang kemana-mana seandainya mendapatkan beasiswa sebanyak itu. Sepertinya detak jantung Michi semakin kencang membaca paragraf tersebut.

Memasuki paragraf keempat, Michi semakin salah tingkah. Pasalnya, informasi beasiswa tersebut akan ditutup satu Minggu lagi. Dia mengingat-ingat apakah semua persyaratan yang dibutuhkan telah dia miliki. Maklum, impian untuk belajar di Jepang adalah cita-citanya sejak masih SMP. Apalagi dengan beasiswa sebesar 3000 yen. Wah, siapa yang tidak tertarik???

Paragaraf demi paragaraf telah ia baca dengan seksama , semua poin ia cermasi dengan serius. Bahkan semua poin penting ia catat pada sebuah blocknote kecil sambil memelototi monitor komputer. Kini ia sampai pada cerita tentang teman-teman yang telah belajar dan mendapatkan beasiswa di sana. Namun sebelum membaca paragraf tersebut ia mendapati link-link berikut:

Seminar Blogging "Cara membuat blog dan monitize"

Minggu kemaren 17 Januari 2010 saya bersama teman-teman sesama blogger mengikuti seminar membuat blog dalam 5 menit menggunakan blogger.com dan bagaimana cara menjadikan blog sebagai sumber penghasil uang untuk kita. Seminar ini dilaksanakan di Aula Lebah Biru Gedung TELKOM Jember. Wah, ternyata acara tersebut cukup ramai peminatnya.

Dalam seminar tersebut datang dua orang pembicara yaitu Bapak Mulyadi dan Mas Robby S. Bapak Mulyadi merupakan perintis komunitas blooger Jember yang tergabung dalam komunitas online di www.suwarsuwir.com. Selain itu beliau juga pemilik portal www.jember.info. Menurut Pak Mulyadi, blogging itu menyenangkan dan dapat dijadikan sebagai media mencari uang. Dosen PPKIA ini menuturkan salah satu jenis affiliasinya yang telah menghasilkan adalah menjual bebek di dalam blog.

Dalam seminar itu, Pak Mulyadi menuturkan dengan nada lucu bahwa untuk mencari uang di dalam blog kita tidak harus terang-terangan alias samar-samar. Beliau cenderung mengoptimalkan blognya dengan memposting informasi yang berkualitas. Dengan konten yang berkualitas ini akan mendatangkan pengunjung tetap. Kemudian untuk mengantisipasi jika ada hal yang perlu ditanyakan oleh pengunjung, Pak Mul juga mencantumkan nomor telpon di dalam blognya. Nah, dengan metode ini juga Pak Mulyadi melakukan transaksi dan berhasil menjual bebek :). Simpel tapi menghasilkan kan?

Berbeda dengan Pak Mulyadi, mas Robby Suhendrawan (pembicara kedua) yang getol mencari dollar lewat internet melalui affiliasi Google Adsense. Internet marketer muda ini ternyata berhasil mendapatkan ribuan dollar hanya melalui google adsense setiap bulannya. Wah keren kan? Beliau juga menuturkan berbagai macam program yang dapat diikuti untuk menghasilkan uang dari internet diantaranya menjual space iklan, Affiliasi, PPC (Pay Per Click), Paid to Review/Paid to Link, dan paid-paid yang lainnya.

Mas Robby juga sedikit memaparkan teknik SEO yang intinya adalah memperbanyak backlink. Sayangnya secara teknik penjelasan bagaimana dan dimana kita dapat melakukannya masih dirasa kurang. Rencananya di waktu yang akan datang akan di adakan follow up berupa pelatihan secara teknis untuk SEO baik secara on page maupun off page . Ya, kita tunggu saja waktunya.

Tapi ada kalanya kita kesulitan untuk bertukar link dengan teman kita, entah karena konten blog kita tidak relevan atau berkaitan dengan bahasan blog teman atau bahkan bisa jadi kita kurang direspon oleh mereka. Sebenarnya ada satu rahasia sangat sederhana namun efektif untuk menyebar link blog kita pada blog orang lain secara otomatis. Kadang kita merasa bahwa dengan menganggap semua orang yang kita kenal sebagai teman atau sahabat akan menjadikannya sebagai teman. My First Step in Internet Marketing

My name is M.K.A Recently I am a student of Jember University. This year, May 2009, is my first step to do online business. Actually I was interested to do this since long time ago but I was confuse about how to do it. While I don’t understand what kind of online business has good prospect either. It was so complicated. I often subscribed free e-books of online business trick, but they were uncompleted. I was still blank about this business. How to do that? What should I do to get dollar from internet?

One day I searched on internet. At that time I read a pre sell of e-book from uangpasans.com. It’s owned by Haryo prabowo, He told on his pre sell that he got Thousands dollars from internet business. His e-book is written about kinds of online business he’s done till today. He Shares the Tricks and steps to do that. I was interested and bought it. After reading that e-book I was shock that online business is very simple to do. I believed I could do that too. Since that night I was dedicated myself to be an online business. I want to get dollars from internet.

At the First time in doing the business online, PTC or “Paid to Click” is my first favorite. I registered many kinds of PTC websites. Click by click, I do that everyday. While seriously in PTC, I blogged. I tried to write steps of my business online. I greet many friends and invite them to visit my blog so that my traffic increased. Till I visit a fried’s blog… His Blog explained about PTC, but it’s not about all PTC in common. It’s about PTC which was supposed as SCAM PTC. He said on his blog SCAM PTC give non logic revenue to it’s member. And I thought my PTCs did it too. "Ha..ha.. they were SCAM..". I was down…

But I never felt desperate. I kept optimistic. Today I still do this online business. I do Website Paid Review, Ciao (product review) and still some PTCs, but no SCAM anymore. I wan to rise my job of this business online. I want to be a super affiliate. I want to get hundreds even thousands dollars from internet, that is my desire. I want to spend more time on internet that’s my dedication.

I believe not only me want to be like that super affiliate, people want to be. So that I hope I could make a nice relationship with many others online businessman or businesswomen. I like to greet many bloggers and share experience each others. That’s so nice…
